Virginia Beach firefighters extinguished a blaze caused by an
electrical malfunction Wednesday in a house in the 5300 block of Sir
Barton Drive. No one was home at the time of the fire in the
Carolanne Farms neighborhood, but a neighbor spotted flames and
called 911.
