CHARLES A. CIGLER

Charles Albert Cigler, 90, of Algonquin Street, died Jan. 26, 1997, in his home.

Mr. Cigler, a native of Pittsburgh, Pa., retired in 1966 from the Norfolk Naval Shipyard as a tool and die maker after 30 years of service. He was the widower of Mrs. Rose Mary Benyak Cigler.

Survivors include two daughters, Carol C. Smith of Chesapeake and Janice M. Cigler of Portsmouth; two sons, Charles M. Cigler of Sunnyvale, Calif., and James L. Cigler of Fairfax, Va.; a sister, Marie Cigler and a brother, Laddie Cigler, both of Wilmerding, Pa.; seven grandchildren, Gregory Smith, Valerie Penley, Scott Smith, Mark Cigler, Kristen Cigler, Jennifer Cigler, Kevin Cigler; and a great-grandchild, Connor Ray Penley.

The funeral service will be private. Foster Funeral Home is handling arrangements. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Maryview Wellspring Hospice.
