ALICE S. WATSON

Alice Sylvia Watson, 84, died Jan. 28, 1997.

A native of Bedford, she was the daughter of the late William and Mary Catherine Arthur Hunt and the widow of Joseph Perrin Watson Sr. Mrs. Watson was a peanut processor for A & P Tea Co. and retired in 1963.

Survivors include her son and his wife, Kenneth and Rosemarie Watson of Virginia Beach; two sisters, Marion Hill and Doris Phelps, both of Lynchburg; two granddaughters, Tiffany Watson and Tate Servais; two great-grandchildren, Adam and McCayla.

Funeral services will be conducted Thursday at noon in St. Mary's of the Presentation Catholic Church by Father Thomas B. Nee. Burial will be in Spring Hill Cemetery, Lynchburg, at noon Friday. A Christian wake will be held in the R. W. Baker & Co. Funeral Home today at 6 p.m. Memorial donations may be made to Hollins College Library, Hollins College Development Office, P.O.
