GEORGE E. INGRAM SR.

George E. Ingram Sr., 62, of the 600 block of Princess Anne Rd., passed into God's love Sunday Jan. 26, 1997, in Virginia Beach General Hospital.

George was the son of the late Mr. and Mrs. E. Guy Ingram. He retired as co-owner of Brinkley Auto Parts and Triple Decker Auto Parts.

Survivors include his wife, Joan Ingram; two sons, George Ingram Jr. and his wife, Kelly, of Virginia Beach, Aaron Ingram of Virginia Beach; a daughter, Elizabeth ``Beth'' Wade and her husband, Mike, of Knotts Island, N.C.; three sisters, Eunice Wiltsey of Chesapeake, Helen Smart of Chesapeake, Minnie Large of Florida; five brothers, Robert Ingram of Norfolk, Daniel Ingram of Smithfield, Va., Thomas Ingram of Grandy, N.C., Jimmy Ingram of Virginia Beach, Earl Ingram of Chesapeake; three grandchildren; many nieces, nephews, in-laws, aunts and cousins.

A memorial service was held at 6:30 p.m. Tuesday in Smith and Williams Funeral Home, Norfolk Chapel. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to The Liver Foundation.

George was a wonderful husband, father, grandfather, brother, uncle, neighbor and friend. He will truly be missed by the people whose lives he touched.
