Blanche M. McCoy, 90, of Parkerson Lane died Jan. 27, 1997, in a Portsmouth hospital.
A native of Norfolk County, she was the widow of Willis E. ``Buck'' McCoy and a member of Deep Creek United Methodist Church, the Mary Tyus Bible Class and the United Methodist Women.
Survivors include three sisters, Hazel McCoy, Lois Cameron and Bertie Fields, all of Chesapeake; three grandsons, Thomas A. Dietrich, Robert M. Dietrich, both of Raleigh, N.C., and Jimmy Dietrich of Chesapeake; two great-grandsons, Matthew Dietrich and Kristopher Dietrich, both of Raleigh.
A funeral will be conducted at 11 a.m. Saturday in Deep Creek United Methodist Church by the Rev. Brad Phillips. Burial will be in Greenlawn Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends in Snellings Funeral Home, George Washington Highway Chapel, from 7 to 8:30 p.m. Friday. Memorial donations may be made to the Deep Creek United Methodist Church.
