POLICE SEEKING SUSPECT WHO FLED ROBBERY SCENE

Police are asking the public for information about a 21-year-old suspect who fled the scene of a home-invasion robbery in Oakmont North last Thursday.

The suspect was identified as James Lamont Madison, also known as ``Li'l Lamont.'' He is wanted in connection with the robbery that took place just after midnight in the 7200 block of Rosemont Drive. A second suspect in the crime was shot to death by a police officer after killing a police dog that was chasing him.

Madison is described as a black male, 5 feet 4 inches tall, weighing 120 pounds. He has four gold-capped teeth and wears large diamond rings and a large gold necklace, police said.

He is known to frequent the Young Terrace, Oakmont North and Tidewater Gardens sections of the city.
