Margaret Mary Bates, formerly of Fort Lauderdale, Fla., died Feb. 14, 1997, in a local hospital.
She was predeceased by her husband, Harold Bates, and was a member of the Church of the Holy Family.
She is the aunt of Phyllis Bonkoski and her husband, Ray; aunt and godmother of Betty Burton and her husband, Harry; also aunt of David Bongartz; a great-aunt of Mary, Amy and Gerald Bonkoski, and Donald and Sandi Burton.
A Christian Wake Service will be held at 7 p.m. Monday in Kellum Funeral Home, Bonney Road Chapel, with visitation to follow until 9 p.m. A Mass of the Resurrection will be celebrated Tuesday in the Church of the Holy Family at 11 a.m. by Fr. Richard Mooney.
