Rodney McGoogan Lee, 82, of the 200 block of Bethany Church Road died Tuesday Feb. 25, 1997, in Chowan Hospital.
He was a native of Bertie County, a member of Bethany Baptist Church and a retired farmer.
Survivors include his wife, Cleo Parker Lee; two daughters, Peggy Lee Brown of Colerain and Mollie Lee McGhee of Washington; two sons, Wayne ``Bud'' Lee of Colerain and Andy M. Lee of Windsor; and five grandchildren.
A funeral will be conducted at 2 p.m. Thursday in Bethany Baptist Church by the Rev. Tommy Tripp and the Rev. Dennis Caton. Burial will follow in Hillcrest Cemetery, Colerain. The family will receive friends in the residence. Memorial gifts may be made to the Colerain Rescue Squad, P.O. Box 338, Colerain, N.C. 27924. Walker Funeral Home is in charge.
