HARRY COLE

Harry ``Skeet'' Cole, 61, of the 1600 block of Richmond Ave., died March 3, 1997, in Maryview Hospital.

Born in Rockingham, N.C., he was a retired merchant seaman and member of the National Maritime Union with 37 years service.

Survivors include his wife, Delores C. Cole; daughter, Remona Pressey of Chesapeake; four sons, Kevin Cole of Winston-Salem, N.C., Andre Cole, Harry Cole Jr., William Bell, all of Portsmouth; two sisters, Doris Patterson and Rosa Mae Walker, both of Chesapeake; two brothers, Millard Clyde ``Mungo'' Cole of Baltimore, Md. and Willie Marion Cole of Florida; five grandchildren and a great-grandchild; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, in-laws and friends.

A funeral will be conducted at noon Friday in Corprew Funeral Home, Portsmouth, by the Rev. Antwan Jones. Burial will be in Roosevelt Memorial Park, Chesapeake. Viewing in the funeral home will begin at noon Thursday. KEYWORDS: DEATH OBITUARY
