Della Elizabeth Fosdick, 60, of the first block of Parkside Place, died March 10, 1997, in a local hospital.
A native of North Carolina, she was a retired restaurant owner.
Survivors include her husband, Franklin F. Fosdick Sr.; three sons, David Parvin of New Jersey, Joseph Fosdick of Portsmouth and Franklin Fosdick of Portsmouth; 10 adopted children; six grandchildren, Joseph Fosdick Jr., Della J. Caroline Fosdick, Jeremy Hunt, Bobby Page, Samantha N. Hallis and James F. Hickman.
She was a wonderful woman and loved by all. She was preceded in death by her daughter, Virginia Ford.
A funeral will be conducted at 11 a.m. Friday in Sturtevant Funeral Home, Portsmouth Blvd. Chapel. The family will receive friends in the funeral home from 7 to 9 p.m. Thursday and at other times in the residence. KEYWORDS: DEATH OBITUARY
