NEW ADMISSIONS OFFICER AT JOHNSON & WALES: Jennifer Liakos was named admissions officer at Johnson & Wales University, College of Culinary Arts. She had worked in admissions for Old Dominion University.

BILISOLY TO SPEAK AT TULANE ADMIRALTY LAW INSTITUTE: F. Nash Bilisoly, a partner with the law firm of Vandeventer, Black, Meredith & Martin, will be a featured speaker at the Tulane School of Law, today through Friday. Bilisoly will be one of several maritime experts making presentations at the university's three-day Admiralty Law Institute: Damages in Maritime Cases.

NATIONSBANK FOUNDATION GIVES $100,000 TO CHRYSLER MUSEUM: The Chrysler Museum of Art received a $100,000 gift from the NationsBank Foundation last month. The gift will help support the permanent installation of the museum's renowned James H. Ricau Collection of Sculpture. The Ricau works will be installed in the new $1.5 million skylit galleries and education wing, which are scheduled to open in the fall. VIRGINIA BEACH

NOMINATIONS FOR VIRGINIA ENTREPRENEURS: Nominations are sought in the South Hampton Roads area and in the state for the state's second annual Entrepreneur of the Year awards. Awards will be presented to entrepreneurs who have demonstrated excellence and extraordinary success in areas such as innovation, financial performance and personal commitment to their business and community. Individuals who have shown extensive support for entrepreneurial ventures are also eligible. Regional award recipients will also be eligible to compete for the National Entrepreneur of the Year Award. Nomination materials must be received by April 4. Self nominations are encouraged, as are those from service providers, suppliers, customers and others who work with entrepreneurs. Virginia finalists will be announced in May and awards will be presented at a black-tie banquet on June 24.
