James Joseph Ganley Jr. of the 800 block of Hunting Hill Lane died March 16, 1997, in his residence.
Born in Brooklyn, N.Y., Mr. Ganley was a resident of Virginia Beach for 50 years.
He is the beloved husband of the late Helen Ganley; and loving father of Amanda Vanderborgt of Tennessee, Jackuelyn Gilbert and Lola Ganley, both of Virginia Beach, Vincent Ganley of San Antonio, Texas, and John Ganley and Michael Ganley, both of Roanoke. He is also survived by 12 grandchildren, four great-grandchildren and two sisters, Betty and Loretta.
The family will receive friends from 7 to 9 p.m. today in Kellum Funeral Home, Pleasant Hall Chapel, where a funeral will be held at 7 p.m. Wednesday with the Rev. Warren Wilson officiating. KEYWORDS: DEATH OBITUARY
