Police have identified the victim and the suspect in a fatal shooting that occurred early Sunday morning in Churchland.
Sanford N. Palmer, 37, of Portsmouth, has been charged with murder and the use of a firearm in the commission of a murder in the shooting death of Angela C. Palmer, of the 4100 block of Kalona Road. It could not be determined if the two were related.
The body of Angela Palmer, who was in her early 20s, was found by police on a street near her home shortly after 4 a.m. Sunday. KEYWORDS: MURDER SHOOTING
