ADRIENNE L. BURGEST

Spec. Adrienne L. Burgest, 29, of the 3500 block of Tennessee Ave. died May 5, 1997, in Petersburg.

A Norfolk native, she was a licensed cosmetologist. Adrienne enlisted in the U.S. Army in 1994 and was assigned to the 49th Quarter Master Group of the 267th Quarter Master Company at Fort Lee, Va.

Survivors include her husband, Lamar Burgest; daughter, Courtney Burgest of Norfolk; mother, Marvis W. McFadden of Virginia Beach; father, Ernest L. Joyner of Norfolk; sister, Marlo C. Bass of Virginia Beach; brother, Ernest L. Joyner Jr. of California; maternal grandmother, Celestine Ackiss; paternal grandmother, Erma Lee Dunlap; paternal grandfather, Cappie Dunlap, both of Norfolk; special uncle, Walter Ward Jr. of Norfolk; and a host of other relatives and friends.

A funeral will be conducted at noon Friday in Morning Star Baptist Church, Virginia Beach, by the Rev. C.L. Williams. Interment will be in Woodlawn Memorial Garden. P.G. Thomasson Funeral Services is in charge. ILLUSTRATION: Photo KEYWORDS: DEATH OBITUARY
