Patricia Howard Brown, 61, died Sunday at Carteret General Hospital, Morehead City.

She lived in Hertford for 20 years. She was the daughter of the late Edwin Turlington Howard of Salemburg and the late Pauline Sanders of Newton Grove.

She is survived by her husband, James T. Brown of Morehead City; daughters, Sanders Haste Ferraro of Sparta, Patricia Haste Chiacchiero of Ashtabula, Ohio; sons, Thomas Erie Haste III of Studio City, Calif., Steven Barton Brown of Waycross, Ga., James Thelbert Brown Jr. of Wilmington; five grandchildren.

A memorial service will be held at 3:30 p.m. Wednesday at Munden Funeral Home with David (Jo Jo) Ferraro officiating.

The family will receive friends half an hour prior to the service at the funeral home.

Patricia's wishes were that in lieu of flowers, memorials be made to the Unity School of Christianity, 1901 NW Blue Parkway, Unity Village, Mo. 64065-0001 or to a charity of one's choice. KEYWORDS: DEATH OBITUARY
