EDNA W. FLOYD

Edna West Floyd, 54, of the Windsor Woods section of Virginia Beach, died at home on Saturday, June 14, 1997, following a courageous battle against cancer.

She was the widow of Henry A. Floyd Jr. They had been married for 25 years.

Edna is survived by two daughters, Robin Adams of Loris, S.C., and Audra Floyd of Virginia Beach; a brother and two sisters, Henry Clarence West of Virginia Beach, Joyce Riggs of Virginia Beach and Anne Styron of Morehead City, N.C.; her fiance of four years, Venancio Champaco of Virginia Beach; and numerous other beloved relatives.

She was an active member of Parents Without Partners, Chapter (NU)216 of Virginia Beach and the Retired Marine Officers' Wives' Social Club.

The funeral will be conducted at 11 a.m. Tuesday in Hollomon-Brown Funeral Home, Lynnhaven Chapel. The service will be followed by burial in Woodlawn Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 6 to 8 p.m. today. Memorial donations may be made to the American Cancer Society. KEYWORDS: DEATH OBITUARY
