RICHARD L. O'ROARK JR.

Richard L. O'Roark Jr., 80, of the 700 block of Harway Ave., died July 6, 1997, in his residence.

A native of New Market, Va., he was a retired safety inspector at Norfolk Naval Air Station and a member of First Lutheran Church, Norfolk.

Survivors include his wife, Evelyn S. O'Roark; son, Robert L. O'Roark III and his wife, Charlotte, of Front Royal, Va.; and numerous cousins, nephews and nieces.

A funeral will be conducted at 11 a.m. Wednesday in Hollomon-Brown Funeral Home, Indian River Chapel, by the Rev. Dr. Marshall F. Mauney. Burial will be in Woodlawn Memorial Gardens. Family will be at the funeral home today from 7 to 8 p.m. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the First Lutheran Church, 1301 Colley Ave., Norfolk, 23517, or to the charity of one's choice.
