BRUSH FIRE IN KILL DEVIL HILLS

Capt. Ed Semanski, a Colington firefighter, hoses down the ground

where a brush fire burned behind Kitty Hawk Elementary School in

Kill Devil Hills on Sunday. Electrical power was lost in some areas

during the fire. The cause of the fire is under investigation, but

dry weather and wind conditions were believed to contributing

factors.
