David Pittman Dawson, 71, died Saturday, Aug. 2, 1997, in Chesapeake General Hospital.
A memorial service will be conducted on Tuesday at 1 p.m. in Outer Banks Presbyterian Church, Kill Devil Hills, with the Rev. L. Spottswood Graves officiating. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that contributions in his memory be made to the Outer Banks Presbyterian Church Hand Bell Choir. Cremation Society of Virginia is in charge.
