Sarah C. Slaven, 88, of the 4000 block of Ocean Front Ave., died Aug. 22, 1997, in Virginia Beach General Hospital.
Born in Norfolk to the late Aaron and Rose Leiderman, Sally (Feuer) was secretary to the Principal of Taylor School from 1941-57 and retired from the administrative offices of the Norfolk School Board.
Survivors include her sister, Geraldine Freedman of West Palm Beach, Fla.; daughter, Barbara Stafford and her husband, Ken, of Virginia Beach; daughter, Anne Shaver and her husband, Bruce, of Warner Robins, Ga.; grandson, James Leitman of Virginia Beach; granddaughters, Erin Shaver and Leigh Joyner of Warner Robins, Ga.; and four great-grandchildren.
A graveside service will be conducted at 11 a.m. today at Forest Lawn Cemetery by Rabbi Israel Zoberman. Memorial donations may be made to a favorite charity. H.D. Oliver Funeral Apts., Laskin Road Chapel, is handling arrangements. KEYWORDS: DEATH OBITUARY
