Jessie Edward Beacham, 47, of the 1000 block of Land Promise Road, died Aug. 23, 1997, at his residence.
He was born in Bethel, N.C., the son of the late Benjamin E. Beacham. He was the owner of J.E. Beacham Painting.
He is survived by two sons, Tyler Edward Beacham of Virginia Beach and Steven Edward Beacham of Las Vegas; his mother, Annie Mae Beacham of Bethel, N.C.; his fiancee, Betsy E. Higginbotham; ex-wife, Linda Beacham; three sisters; two brothers; and a host of nieces, nephews and friends.
A graveside service will be at 2 p.m. Monday in Chesapeake Memorial Gardens Cemetery. A visitation will be held today from 7 to 9 p.m. in Twiford Colonial Chapel, Great Bridge. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorial contributions be made to Linda Beacham, 485 Cranston Lane, Virginia Beach, Va. 23452. KEYWORDS: DEATH OBITUARY
