MADELINE M. CANDRILLI

Madeline Martino "Mickey" Candrilli, 75, of Oregon Avenue, died Aug. 21, 1997, in a hospital.

Mrs. Candrilli, a native of Catskill, N.Y., was the widow of Jerome C. "Jerry" Candrilli Sr. She was a member of St. Paul's Catholic Church, St. Joseph's Indian School and the Sacred Heart League. She was formerly employed at Zayre's Department Store, Portsmouth.

Survivors include two daughters, JoAnne Candrilli Joyner and her husband Dale of Portsmouth, Joan C. Voges of Freeport, N.Y.; two sons, Jerry C. Candrilli, Jr. and his fiancee, Virginia Langert of Virginia Beach, and Robert J. Candrilli; two sisters, Laura Gaddis and Marie Perpetua both of Kingston, N.Y.; two brothers, Anthony Martino Jr. of Uniondale, N.Y., Albert Martino of Mt. Marion, N.Y.; 11 grandchildren, eight great-grandchildren, and a host of other family and friends.

A Mass of the Resurrection will be celebrated at 11 a.m. Monday in St. Paul's Catholic Church by the Rev. Joseph Slowik. Entombment will follow in Greenlawn Mausoleum. A Christian Wake service will be held at 3 p.m. today at Foster Funeral Home, Portsmouth. KEYWORDS: DEATH OBITUARY
