CURTIS C. BAILEY

Curtis C. Bailey of the 2000 block of McMenamy Drive died Aug. 19, 1997.

A native of Norfolk, Mr. Bailey was retired from the U.S. Army and from civil service. He was the son of the late Josephine Bailey and Arthur L. Bailey Sr.

Survivors include his wife, Christine M. Bailey; a daughter, Diya Bailey of St. Louis; a son, Lance Bailey of Denver; two brothers, Arthur L. Bailey Jr. of Fredericksburg, Va., Willie Martin of Norfolk; two aunts, Grace Lee of Norfolk, Mary Virginia Hill of Emporia, Va.; his mother-in-law; five sisters-in-law; and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

A funeral will be conducted at 1 p.m. Monday in New Calvary Baptist Church, Norfolk, by the Rev. Dr. G.G. Campbell. Burial will be in Quantico National Cemetery. The family will be at 3632 Pamlico Circle, Norfolk. The remains will be in church at 11:30 a.m. Viewing will be today from 2 to 7 p.m. Community Funeral Home, Norfolk Chapel, is handling arrangements. KEYWORDS: DEATH OBITUARY
