LAMONT DAVIS

Lamont Davis, 48, of the 3700 block of Woodmere Drive, died Aug. 22, 1997, atSentara Bayside Hospital.

Born in Norfolk, he was a maintenance supervisor for United Property. He was the widower of Ethel Mae Davis.

Survivors include his daughter, Crystal Davis, and stepdaughter, Pamela Key, both of Portsmouth; three sons, Lamont Andrews and Keith Andrews, both of Norfolk, and David Key of Portsmouth; his mother, Dorothy Davis Lewis; four sisters, Patricia A. Davis of Norfolk, Michelle L. Davis, Della R. Lewis and Reiquel Lewis, all of Baltimore; a sister-in-law, Delores Bassett of Richmond; three brothers, Stantton L. Davis, Frank Glenn Davis and Eric Anthony Davis, all of Baltimore; two brothers-in-law, Elbert Bassett of Richmond and Oris Key of Portsmouth; grandchildren, Clinton Lamont Jennings Davis, Davon Gaitling, Latrice, Latasha, Andrea Key, Lamont Richardson, Ravin Richardson, Tamara Thomas, Shannell and Shacora Porter, Tamika Andrews, Shantel Andrews, Jamie Andrews, Jasmine Andrews, and Keith Andrews Jr.; a devoted cousin, KaSean Davis; a devoted aunt, Diane Flemings; devoted uncles, Ronnie and Willie Flemings of Norfolk; daughter, Terri Knox and a son-in-law, Robert Knox, both of Virginia Beach; two grandchildren, Xavier Jones and Chaniqua Jones; and a host of other relatives and friends.

A funeral will be conducted at 11 a.m. today at New First Baptist Church, Taylorsville, by Dr. T.M. Steele. Family and friends will assemble at 10 a.m. in 3732 Woodmere Drive for the procession to the church. The place of burial is Lincoln Memorial Cemetery.
