WILLIE MAE ALSTON

Willie Mae Finch Alston, 82, died Aug. 24, 1997, in Sentara Leigh Memorial Hospital.

Mrs. Alston was born in Wilson, N.C., the daughter of the late Lula and Vander Finch. She was retired from Norfolk Naval Air Station and a member of First Baptist Church Lamberts Point.

Survivors include her husband, Lloyd Alston; three sisters, Luthenia Harris of Washington, D.C., Lillie Jones of Cincinnati, Alice Hines of Portsmouth; a brother, James Junior Finch of Florida; a brother-in-law, Willie Randolph of Silver Spring, Md.; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

A funeral will be conducted at noon Friday in First Baptist Church Lamberts Point by the Rev. Anthony Page. Burial will be in Roosevelt Memorial Park with Hale Funeral Home in charge. The remains will be in placed in the church at 10 a.m. Friday. Family and friends will assemble at the residence at 11 a.m. Friday for the procession. KEYWORDS: DEATH OBITUARY
