CARLTON L. BRYANT

Carlton L. ``Baby Bull'' Bryant of the 1500 block of Ellington Square died Aug. 26, 1997.

A native of Portsmouth, he was a security officer, a counselor for A.A. of Washington, D.C. and volunteer for Arlington Hospital. He was a past member of Morning Star Baptist Church, Portsmouth, and a veteran of the U.S. Navy.

Survivors include his mother, Janet E. Bryant of Portsmouth; two sisters, Paulette Perry of Henderson, N.C., Constance Bryant of Portsmouth; two brothers, Warren L. Bryant Jr. of Henderson, Gregory L. Bryant of Portsmouth; grandmother, Courtney Eborn of Portsmouth; two aunts, Odessa Bowser, Annette Bryant, both of Norfolk; great-aunt, Beatrice Graham of Portsmouth; uncle, Charlie Bryant of Norfolk; a devoted cousin, Vernon Foster; and a host of other relatives and friends.

A funeral will be conducted at 11 a.m. Tuesday in New Oak Grove Baptist Church, 3200 Head of River Road, Virginia Beach, by Dr. O.L. Cromwell II. Burial will be in Roosevelt Memorial Park, Chesapeake. Family and friends will assemble at 1505 Ellington Square, Portsmouth, at 10 a.m. Tuesday for procession to the church.
