JOHN C. BELL

John Clinton Bell, 89, of the 5300 block of Orion Drive died Aug. 30, 1997.

Mr. Bell was born in Worth County, Ga., and was a retired self-employed electrician. He was a member of Heritage United Methodist Church, Virginia Beach, and the United Methodist Men's Group. He was a member of the Electrical Contractors Association of Tidewater.

Survivors include his wife, Alma S. Bell; two daughters, Patrica B. Tholen and her husband, Donald, of Norfolk and Marjorie B. Dunham and her husband, John, of Chesapeake; five grandchildren, John Mark Dunham of Los Angeles, James Michael Dunham of Richmond, Patricia L. Dunham of Chesapeake, Wayne Charles Tholen and his wife, Jeanene, of Virginia Beach, Lee Ann Apker and her husband, Michael, of Norfolk; and five great-grandchildren.

A funeral will be conducted at 2 p.m. Wednesday in Heritage United Methodist Church, Virginia Beach, by the Rev. Clark Mandigo. Burial will be in Woodlawn Memorial Gardens. The family will be at Hollomon-Brown Funeral Home, Indian River Chapel, from 7 to 8 p.m. Tuesday.
