FULL SPEED AHEAD TOWARD COMMISSIONING

The Navy's newest destroyer, the Hopper, sails into the San

Francisco Bay on Saturday, with the Golden Gate Bridge in the

background. The vessel, which will be commissioned this weekend, is

named after the late Rear Adm. Grace Murray Hopper. Among other

things, Hopper invented the COBOL computer language and coined the

term ``debug.''
