LLOYD P. WILLIAMS

Elder Lloyd Percelle Williams, 74, of the 3700 block of Colonial Ave., died Sept. 9, 1997, in DePaul Hospital.

Born in Southampton County, Va., he was pastor of Faith Temple Apostolic Faith Church of God Live On. He was the son of the late Queen E. and Joe Sam Williams.

Survivors include his wife, Allie Mae Williams of Washington, D.C.; five stepdaughters, Mildred Joyner of Windsor, Va., Sarah Knight and Geneva S. Byrum, both of Franklin, Hattie Watson of Como, N.C., Martha L. Scott of Washington, D.C.; two stepsons, Joshua Scott Jr. of Hampton, Linnie C. Scott of Newport News; a foster son, Bruce Warren of Norfolk; three sisters, Louise Whitfield of Norfolk, Shirley Williams and Barbara Williams of Courtland; two brothers, Junious Vann and Lee Vann, both of Courtland.

A funeral will be conducted at 11 a.m. today in St. Mount Apostolic Faith Church by Bishop R.H. Cross. Burial will be in Carver Memorial Cemetery. The body will be placed in the church at 9:30 a.m. today. The family will assemble for service at 10 a.m. The family will receive visitors at the home of Mrs. Sarah Knight of Franklin.
