Edna Louise Stocks, 70, died Sept. 11, 1997, in Sentara Bayside Hospital.
She was born in Norfolk and was the widow of Wiley D. Stocks.
Survivors include three sons, Louis T. Self of Oklahoma City, Dale D. Stocks of Norfolk and Garland R. Self of Chesapeake; four daughters, Sheila M. Mills and Teresa D. Ciccone of Virginia Beach, Stella L. Davis of West Virginia and Susan Amorese of Chesapeake; a sister, Doris Sorokes of Chesapeake; 24 grandchildren; and 12 great-grandchildren.
A graveside service will be conducted at 11 a.m. Monday in Rosewood Memorial Park by the Rev. Robert Wills. The family will receive friends at Smith and Williams Funeral Home, Kempsville Chapel, from 6 to 9 p.m. Sunday. KEYWORDS: DEATH OBITUARY
