MABEL E. ROLLASON

Mabel Evelyn Rollason, 87, of the 500 block of Myrtle Court died Sept. 18, 1997, in Nags Head.

She was born in Norfolk and was the widow of Robert E. Rollason Sr. She was a member of McKendree United Methodist Church and was a past worthy matron Order of the Eastern Star Ocean View Chapter No. 34.

Survivors include a daughter, Evelyn Denise Rollason of Kill Devil Hills; three sons, John L. Young Jr. and his wife, Betty, of Newport News, Robert E. Rollason Jr. and his wife, Sherry, of Kill Devil Hills, Lawrence A. Rollason and his wife, Ann, of Edmond, Okla.; 12 grandchildren and 7 great-grandchildren; numerous nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by two sons, Charles Thomas Rollason and Richard M. Young.

A funeral will be conducted at 11 a.m. Monday in Hollomon-Brown Funeral Home, Tidewater Drive Chapel, by the Rev. Bruce Carper. Burial will be in Forest Lawn Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 5 to 7 p.m. Sunday. Memorial donations may be made to Alzheimer's Association. KEYWORDS: DEATH OBITUARY
