PROPERTY WORTH $1,400 STOLEN FROM HOME

Nags Head police are investigating a Sunday night break-in at a residence on Old Oregon Inlet Road.

Police Chief Charles Cameron said the robbers entered the house through a second-story bedroom window and took two television sets, a videocassette recorder, a stereo system and assorted video games.

The stolen property is worth about $1,400, Cameron said.

Police are also looking into a second robbery on Oregon Inlet Road that occurred last Thursday. Two television sets and two videocassette recorders, valued at $1,350, were taken from the home. The break-in was discovered by Nags Head Police Officer Dean McManus while on routine patrol.

It is not known if the two cases are related, and there are no suspects. Both investigations are continuing. KEYWORDS: ROBBERIES
