CATHERINE C. LAUFF

Catherine C. Lauff, 80, of the 200 block of Amberly Road died Oct. 13, 1997, in Chesapeake.

She was the widow of Charles R. Lauff and employed by Stetson Hats and Mobile Estates Sales. Born in Glasgow, Scotland, she lived in Hamilton, Ontario; Philadelphia, Pa.; Mount Holly, N.J., and spent the last 18 years in the Hampton Roads area.

Survivors include two daughters, Margaret Rogers and her husband, Bobby Joe, of Virginia Beach and Elizabeth City, N.C. and Barbara Horne and her husband, James of Chesapeake; a son, Robert Lauff of Glassboro, N.J.; a brother, William Cooper and his wife, Lillian, of Landsdale, Pa.; five grandchildren, Jessica Thomas, Michelle Holland, James Horne Jr., Charles Horne, Jeffrey Horne; four great-grandchildren, Charles Sawyer Jr., Jeffrey Thomas Jr., Trevor Horne and Bryce Cooper Horne.

A graveside service will be conducted at 11 a.m. Friday in Woodlawn Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends at Hollomon-Brown Funeral Home, Great Bridge Chapel, from 7 to 9 p.m. Thursday and after the service at the home of Barbara Horne, 1341 Chesapeake Ave., Chesapeake.
