Stephen Martin Edwards Sr., 45, formerly of Portsmouth, died Oct. 13, 1997 inVolusa, Fla.
A native of Bristol, Tenn., he was a general contractor.
Survivors include two sons, Stephen Martin Edwards Jr. and Wesley J. Edwards II, both of Portsmouth; two sisters, Carol Voorhees of Norfolk and Alice Ward of Chesapeake; three brothers, Harold J. Edwards, Michael W. Edwards and Kenneth D. Edwards, all of Florida; and a grandson, Cody Martin Edwards.
A graveside service will be conducted at 11 a.m. today in Olive Branch Cemetery by the Rev. Danny Spaugh. The family will receive friends from 9:30 to 10:30 a.m. today in Sturtevant Funeral Home, Portsmouth Blvd. Chapel. KEYWORDS: DEATH OBITUARY
