FAMILY CONFERENCE TO AID INDIVIDUALS AND COUPLES

HAD ONE too many arguments over the family budget?

About to cave under the stress of keeping family, job and marriage afloat?

There may be help for you at the third annual Family Conference presented by Family Services of Tidewater on Nov. 7 at the Pavilion Towers Hotel in Virginia Beach.

Olivia Mellan, psychotherapist and author on money psychology, will present techniques to help individuals and couples find the best ways to handle their money.

The keynote speaker for the conference, Maureen Gail Mulvaney, will discuss ``How to Keep From Going Bonkers,'' focusing on how to keep families strong in the face of stress.

The conference will also include workshops by experts in social services, health and education. Topics include effective communication, parenting skills, and coping with health problems and trauma. ILLUSTRATION: Photos
