MARTHA L. DREWRY

Miss Martha Lou Drewry, 79, died Nov. 17, 1997, in West Palm Beach, Fla.

A native of Southampton County, she was the daughter of the late Irvin D. and Hattie West Drewry. She was a Baptist and a retired employee of F.W. Woolworth stores.

Miss Drewry is survived by a brother, George S. Drewry of Suffolk; two sisters, Elsie D. Beasley of Troy, Va., Nell D. Ashby of Waverly; and several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by a brother, Earl Drewry.

A memorial service will be held at 3 p.m. Sunday in Ivor Baptist Church by by the Rev. Clyde Alderman. Burial will be private in Rosemont Cemetery, Sedley, Va. The family will receive friends at the residence of Fred and Nell Ashby, 333 E. Main St., Waverly, Va. Purviance Funeral Home, Wakefield, is handling arrangements. KEYWORDS: DEATH OBITUARY
