This comes after its lender foreclosed on the property ... because its current owner couldn't afford the mortgage payments.

Four seats are up for grabs on Roanoke City Council.
And the Democratic committee is meeting tonight ... to set the guidelines on how Roanoke's Democrats will choose their nominees.

Former "Love Boat" star and ex- Congressman Fred Grandy was in Salem this morning, announcing a merger that will better serve the needs of the region's disabled.

Grandy is the president and C-E-O of Goodwill Industries, International.
Goodwill is joining forces with ARC of the Roanoke Valley, the Franklin County Developmental Center, and the New River Valley Workshop.
Grandy says the more unified organization will strengthen services and provide more opportunities for physically and mentally challenged workers.
