It's no secret that the commercial truck industry has been on the skids in recent months, after a decline in orders for new trucks.
Volvo has suffered more than many heavy duty truck makers.
It's had to cut back nearly 20 percent on its production.
The Dublin plant employs about three-thousand workers.
No word yet on how many of them might be out of work in this round of layoffs.
Officials from the local United Auto Workers union met with Volvo plant officials last night.
They expect to know how the reduced truck demand will affect the job picture tomorrow.

The plant has been putting out 132 trucks a day before the last round of layoffs.
With the latest cuts, we're told it could even go as low as 100 a day.

Volvo officials we contacted today were withholding comment on the cutbacks.
However, both union officials and Pulaski county officials said they have every reason to believe that a 148-milli
