Assorted CHEESE products are scattered all over a northbound lane of Rt. 220 because of an overturned tractor- trailer.

The accident happened just north of Rocky Mount, slowing down traffic and creating a mess in the left lane.
The truck, loaded with Kroger cheese, veered off the road and flipped onto its side.
The driver was taken to the county magistrate's office, where charges are pending.
Police have not yet released his name.
Authorities say the clean- up could take at least a few hours.

Richmond police also believe they have a serial killer in custody.
Officials say Leslie Leon Burchart, a homeless schizophrenic, has confessed to four unsolved murders and given investigators information that only the killer would know.
Four women ranging in age from 55 to 84 were found strangled in their homes in 19-96.
The case was referred to as the Golden Years homicides.

It's the airline's third emergency landing in as many days.

Meantime, helicopters and rescuers in boats are continuing the search today for survivors from a Kenya Airways plane crash.
The jet plunged into the Atlantic last night, just after taking off from an Ivory Coast airport.

About 90 bodies were recovered early this morning.
