A Virginia Tech veterinary medicine professor is under arrest for two felony drug charges.
Virginia Tech officials say they believe John D. Jacobson was stealing a synthetic form of morphine from the school's veterinary medicine department -- and using it himself.
Jacobson was suspended today and relieved of his teaching and veterinary duties -- pending an internal review.

Another former NFL linebacker is in trouble with the law.
Lawrence Taylor has been sentenced to 18 months probation and a one-thousand-59 dollar fine on drug charges.
The 40 year old pleaded no contest to buying crack cocaine from an undercover police officer.
Defense lawyers tried unsuccessfully to get the case thrown out, contending police used an informant to set up Taylor, preying on the ex- football great because of his history of drug abuse.
