Another man is busted after an arranged meeting with a minor - turns into a meeting with police.
Authorities say 45 year-old Timothy Farnum of Saratoga County, New York was arrested yesterday.
The Internet Crimes Against Children unit in Bedford County began an undercover correspondence with Farnum in November.
An investigator posed as a 13-year-old girl .
Farnum reportedly arranged a meeting with her.
He faces a felony charge of disseminating indecent material to a minor in New York, and could face charges in Virginia.

A Lynch Station man is in custody, charged with raping an 86-year old woman at knife point in her home this morning.
Bedford County authorities say the elderly victim knew her attacker, and let him in to use her phone.
That's when 42-year old Milton E. Brown Junior allegedly assaulted the woman, injuring her shoulder.
He's being held without bond.

A Methodist minister was told to get out of Virginia and stay out, for 10 years.
That sentence was handed down in a Lynchburg courtroom... after Reverend Gene McNutt pled guilty to breaking into his former wife's home, locking her in the house for hours, and assaulting her.
He could serve five years, if he makes any effort to contact his ex-wife.

The man convicted once of murdering a Virginia Tech Student is back in Christiansburg for his second trial.

Ben Lilly was arraigned this morning on capital murder charges in the killing of Alexander DeFilippis four years ago.
Lilly had been on Virginia's death row. But the Virginia Supreme Court ordered a new trial.

And although the protesters were silent -- their posters sent a clear message -- stop animal abuse.
The students are oppose to the methods they say are used to control the animals such as bullhooks and electric prods and chains.

The VMI Keydets finaly released their list of football signings this afternoon. The official list has VMI signing four players including former Heritage high school linebacker Derek Screen. VMI also is suppoded to get one of the top linemen in the state of West Virginia in six-four 270 pound San Brown from James Monroe high school.

High winds and rain forced the first round to be suspended yesterday, but when the first 18 holes were finished today Tiger Woods was back in the hunt for his sxith straight tour victory. He finshed with a 68, two off the lead. That is shared by David Duval, Vijay Singh and Nitah Begay. They are all at six under par 66. Round two is set for tomorrow.

If you think back to around Christmas Time last year, you may remember the story of former UVa lineman Mark Lindsey. He's a 260 pounder from Richdmond, who never was able to play a single down for the Cavs after doctors discovered he had a rare heart disease, known as cardio miopathy, where the heart ages much quicker than the rest of the body.
