A fight over a confederate flag captured in the Battle of Gettysburg is getting the attention of Virginia lawmakers.
They're considering a bill that would URGE Minnesota's Historical Society to return or loan the flag to Virginia.


For two years, civil war re-enactors in Virginia have been trying to get the flag back.
But the historical society says Minnesota has at least an equal claim to the flag and has no intention of giving it

up.
The Virginia Senate Rules Committee is expected to vote on the legislation Monday.

A fire that damaged a home in Roanoke this afternoon is being treated as suspicious.

The fire inspector was called to this house on Troxell Road in Southeast shortly after four.
It took fire fighters about a half hour to extinguish the flames - no one was injured.
Officials say there was severe damage to the structure and it could be a total loss.

The boy's Miami relatives are furious.
But in Cuba, officials say the grandmother's comments are being taken out of context.

Federal labor officials dismissed 4 unfair-labor practice charges against Rubatex.
The Steelworkers Local 240 says it will appeal.

The hundred doctors who have not left the Lewis-Gale Clinic are now trying to buy it back from its parent company.
The number of doctors who HAVE quit this year grew to 30 this week.

The Dow picked up 225 points, closing near 11-thousand.

Tiger Woods trying for his sixth straight P-G-A tour win ran into some problems. This shot hits the flag from 129 yards out Woods birdied the hole but a 1 over par 73 left him 8 shots off the pace.
Singh would shot a bogey free round of 5 under par 67 and he holds a 1 shot lead on Notah Begay.

A two headed sea horse was born at the Birch Aquarium last week.
The unique creature is joined at the stomach and tail but each animal has its own snout, head, and heart.
It's only 8 millimeters long -- that's half the size of a healthy sea horse.
