(( At the Woodlawn School, where Rebecca Sams taught sixth grade, students and coworkers received private grief counseling from area ministers today.
Sams, a teacher with the school for seven years, was shot in a neighbor's driveway Sunday, as she and her two small children returned home from church.
Investigators say when she discovered David Sams was hiding in the back of her van with a shotgun, she pulled into the driveway. He shot her twice as she tried to escape. Then turned the gun on himself.
Carroll County's sheriff says that David Sams was due in court later this week to face domestic violence charges.
He doesn't know if that prompted the shooting.

Day died at Lynchburg General Hospital.

((The 6000 foot facility in the Christiansburg area opened in October of 1999. Kevin Dresser purchased the building for the Hawkeye East Wrestling Club. The rec program contains around 100 kids from kindergarten up to 12th grade.

Twice a week, wrestlers from Hawkeye East, the Blue Demon Wrestling Club, and grapplers from Pulaski, Floyd, Blacksburg and Rural Retreat High Schools learn about wrestling and life.
