((It's an emergency order that could cause delays at the nation's airports. In the wake of the Alaska Airlines crash last week, the Federal Aviation Administration says airlines must inspect MD-80s, DC-9s and the brand new Boeing 7-1-7. The alert comes after Alaska found shavings in the jackscrew assemblies on two of it's MD- 80s. Jack Evans/Alaska Airlines Spokesperson: "In this assembly, they opened it up to take a look at it, there was substantial metals shavings and filings." The assembly is the part that moves the horizontal stabilizer, the SAME part that is the focus of the investigation into the crash of Flight 261. Alaska Airlines has already grounded the two jets where it found problems. But the government isn't ordering OTHER airlines to ground THEIR jets. Just inspect them within two days. There are about 11-hundred MD-80s and DC-9s flying in the US. And so far, officials say, no other airlines have found problems in their fleets. But with the emergency inspections underway, some passengers could face delays and cancellations. Manuel Gallegus, CBS News, Los Angeles.))
