Alaska Airlines has grounded two of its MD-80 jets- after finding problems with the jackscrews.

One plane was grounded in Seattle- and another in Portland, Oregon.
Boeing has also asked Alaska Airlines and all other companies flying MD-80's to do inspections- after finding the jackscrew from the Alaska Air flight that crashed last week was damaged.
The plane plunged into the Pacific off the Southern California coast- killing all 88 people aboard.

It's about 15 miles east of Philadelphia.

The Food and Drug Administration has approved a new medication to treat irritable bowel syndrome.
Lotronex is the first treatment in years for the disorder which is characterized by abdominal pain and the sudden and urgent need to go to the bathroom.
Irritable bowel syndrome affects up to 15 percent of the population and is three times more common in women.
The F-D-A cautions the drug offers only modest help and is not a cure.

The 77 year old artist says he also has difficulty speaking.
But Schulz says believes he did some of his best work during the last several years. And he says it's gratifying Peanuts meant so much to the fans.
The last original Peanuts strip will run this Sunday.

A source close to the negotiations confirms the agreement . The Reds are planning a news conference later today at 6:45 eastern time.
