Ever since Tara Munsey's body was found on Thursday in a wooded area off of Parrott River Road in Pulaski County, authorities have been looking over the crime scene -- searching for evidence that could help them find a suspect in the murder.

Even the location of the crime scene can provide helpful information to authorities.
Pulaski County Sheriff Jim Davis says he believes Tara's killer was familiar with the area because of the remote location where her body was found.
Authorities say she died from multiple gun shot wounds -- and Davis says they are also looking into a possible struggle at the crime scene.
And now that investigators have found her body-- the hope is that this latest development may trigger someone's memory.

Tom Landry passed away tonight at Baylor University Medical Center after undergoing treatment for leukemia. Landry coached the Cowboys for their first 29 years and had a record 270 victories. His family said he went peacefully surrounded by loved ones. Landry was 75 years old.

V-M-I will have fewer rats this fall. The Board of Visitors voted this morning to limit the size of the upcoming freshman class to 400.

Over the past few years, the number of incoming students has ranged from 429 to around 460.
VMI spokesman Colonel Mike Strickler says this has had a cumulative effect...resulting in overcrowding in the barracks.
Stricker says limiting the number of rats will also create a more selective admission's process-- which will raise the academic profile of the students.
For now, the board's decision will only affect this year's incoming freshmen.

Police shot and killed a man who allegedly opened fire last night at a concert in Los Angeles.

According to police-- the suspect had opened fire at concert goers.
But some witnesses said the man did nothing to provoke police.
The violence continued as people were leaving the area.

The New York obstetrician who carved his initials into the abdomen of one of his patients has reportedly settled a lawsuit.

Dr. Allan Zarkin carved the initials A-Z into Liana Gedz's abdomen when he delivered her baby.
According to the New York Times, Gedz will receive one-point 75 million dollars.

Today the Dallas Cowboys decided not to wait on the status of Michael Irvin and signed Galloway. The 28 year old Galloway missed the preseason and the first 8 games because of contact dispute with his old team the Seattle Seahawks.
Dallas will reportedly send their first round draft pick to Seattle for signing Galloway.
