Teresa,
At this point, authorities are not saying whether they have a possible suspect -- the only information the Pulaski County Sheriff is giving out at this time is that they are following-up on several leads.
But now that Tara's body has been found -- this may bring investigators one step closer to finding her killer.

Ever since Tara Munsey's body was found on Thursday in a wooded area off of Parrott River Road in Pulaski County, authorities have been looking over the crime scene -- searching for evidence that could help find a suspect in the murder.

[OUT Q=if there were multiple offenders]

Even the location of the crime scene can provide helpful information to authorities.
Pulaski County Sheriff Jim Davis says he believes Tara's killer was familiar with the area because of the remote location where her body was found.
Authorities say she died from multiple gun shot wounds -- and Davis says they are also looking into a possible struggle at the crime scene.
And now that investigators have found her body-- the hope is that this latest development may trigger someone's memory.

Now the Pulaski County Sheriff Office has received numerous tips -- and Davis says they are following up on ever lead.
But the hope is that maybe someone say something and will come forward with information.

Over the past few years, the number of incoming students has ranged from 429 to around 460.
VMI spokesman Colonel Mike Strickler says this has had a cumulative effect...resulting in overcrowding in the barracks.
Stricker says limiting the number of rats will also create a more selective admission's process-- which will raise the academic profile of the students.
For now, the board's decision will only affect this year's incoming freshmen.
