That's the finding of a News 7 poll released today.

The poll of 621 likely Virginia voters by Mason-Dixon research shows 48 per cent favor Bush statewide, 37 per cent are for McCain.
Bush gets the most support in western and southwest Virginia .. 57 per cent, almost double McCain's 29.
Bush also does well in central and southside Virginia .. 54 per cent, to McCain's 31.

Swimming is usually the last thing we think about when it comes to winter sports. But the Cave Spring boy's swim team made its mark this past weekend by winning the school's first state aquatics title.
