Ronald Stevens and Everett Stewart were killed battling this fire in the 700 block of Main Street on February 25th, 1975.
The two men were trapped after one burning building collapsed on the other.
Stevens and Stewart were honored this morning in a ceremony at the site of the fire.
Colleagues who were with them still remember that night.

The National Highway Traffic Safety Administration says Cosco Incorporated's Touriva seats have defective buckles.
The latches may be difficult to unhook in an emergency.

An Egyptian woman gave birth yesterday to a baby boy weighing over 15 pounds.

Doctors at Cairo's Railway Hospital delivered the baby by caesarian section after they became alarmed over his abnormal size.
Both mother and child are doing fine.
The baby is being kept in an incubator, but's he's almost too big for that.
Physicians say there is a history of diabetes in the family which sometimes can lead to large babies.
The boy will be named Karim, which is an Arabic word for generous.
