Ronald Stevens and Everett Stewart were killed battling this fire in the 700 block of Main Street on February 25th, 1975.
The two men were trapped after one burning building collapsed on the other.

Colleagues who were with them still remember that night.

About 200-thousand safety seats could pose a potential danger. The National Highway Traffic Safety Administration says Cosco Incorporated's Touriva seats have defective buckles.
The latches may be difficult to unhook in an emergency.

[Take Pinnacle Page] Cosco officials say they expect to recall about 200-thousand Touriva convertible car seats for children within the next two weeks. The seats were produced between May 1996 and November 1997. The company is working on a plan to mail an adjustment kit to customers.

An Egyptian woman gave birth yesterday to a baby boy weighing over 15 pounds.

Doctors at Cairo's Railway Hospital delivered the baby by caesarian section after they became alarmed over his abnormal size.
Both mother and child are doing fine.
The baby is being kept in an incubator, but's he's almost too big for that.
Physicians say there is a history of diabetes in the family which sometimes can lead to large babies.
The boy will be named Karim, which is an Arabic word for generous.
