Fridaya jury acquitted the officers on all charges concluding they
reasonably believed Diallo was armed and dangerous.

A Lynchburg Republican is gaining support from environmentalists for a bill that would protect the Commonwealth's non-tidal wetlands.
But Preston Bryant's also a principal in an environmental engineering firm that advises developers and landowners on wetlands regulations.

An altercation at a house in Blacksburg has left a local man in critical condition.
Police say 29- year old Thomas Hyman suffered multiple injuries to his face, neck and head and is on life-support.
The fight happened at a house on East Roanoke street in Blacksburg.
Police say Hyman entered the home and that the altercation apparently occurred in the doorway.
Police have not said what led to the fight or if charges will be filed.

Dale Earnhardt made a move and he would take the lead on lap 262 and he would lead for a couple of laps.
Then Labonte passed Earnhardt for the lead on lap 242 and he would lap several cars on his way to winning for the first time in Rockingham.
